March sleevers anyone?

After a long haul I am down to the final countdown 10 days and hopefully I will be in my hospital room recovering from the best surgery decision I've ever made I am overwhelmed with emotion mostly being excited and if I think too much I get a little nervous but I know that this is the best decision that I can make for myself and my future I'm not sure what I'm nervous of maybe the new lifestyle that I will be living but I know that that is what I need to do in order to be healthy this has been a long time coming I was supposed to get the surgery in July but I got tonight for my insurance company because they say obesity is a pre existing condition so we waited and resubmitted on January 21st I finally got the approval and had set up my surgery for February 11th but God had a different plan for me I went to the hospital the last Tuesday of January and found out later that night I need my gallbladder removed the thing that relieve me the most was that I found out that my bariatric surgeon was in fact a general surgeon and he performed my gallbladder removal surgery I know he's a great doctor and I am excited to have him working on me. So now I am fully recovered from gallbladder surgery and I'm setting up for surgery on March 6 it's the final countdown for me 10 days and I start my new life. How was every other March sleever feeling

Hi! I'm Anne, in Virginia. March 6th is my date and I start one week of liquids this Wednesday. Final Pre-op appointment with the surgeon is this Tuesday. I'm ready to get this done, to lose weight and start enjoying life more! Good to all the March Sleevers!

Hello! I am Michele from Bergen County, NJ and my surgery is set for March 18th! I am very excited. I did a sort of last meal today instead of doing it right before. I didn't go nuts but it was my last buffet. :) That's about it for my splurge before and now I'm ready for the count down to take this dive into a wonderful journey.

hmm a buffet that sounds good but for me its beer I love beer and well maybe I'll go to a beer buffet I think beer is one of those danger foods theres nothing better after working all day in the summer coming home and dowining a six pack I m gonna miss you bud light boo hoo

I'm planning to go to Outback steakhouse with my family and friends its my most favorite restaurant!!

I'm also Mar 20 . I'm from long island. I haven't started the pre open diet yet. However I did have to quit smoking. It's been a nightmare not smoking and at the same time not stuffing my face to compensate

I'm on the 20th as well... I don't start my preop until the 4th.. Good luck on not smoking... It will help your recovery!

Hi everyone! I'm set for Marc 7th! I'm excited and scared at the same time! It's coming sooo fast

Going for my preop visit tomorrow and then its 8 more days for me!!

Mine is on March 20, glad to see there are some others that are march 20th as well. I had to have both my feet operated on last week for bunionettes, I am on bedrest now, I just hope I can walk through the airport and the pain between my feet and tummy won't be overwhelming. The surgery on the feet really distracted me for the past couple months thinking of that surgery. Now that its done, I know the big surgery is coming quick. Anyone got ideas of what they are going to bring with them. Is anyone bringing someone with them. My brother is coming with me, my husband is staying home with the kids.
