  5. I'm going back and forth between these two wristband tracking options. does anyone have one of them? If so what do you think? are there any Pros or Cons to either?
  6. Thank you all so much!
  7. I'm 3 and a half months out and I've been experiencing hair loss for about a month and a half. Has anyone else gone through this? If so how long does it last? Also, how much do you lose? Do you have bald spots? I'm scared!
  8. I'm 18 and was sleeved March 13th, 2013. I am down 100 pounds (including preop) . congrats to both of you!
  9. I agree, take it one day at a time. that is the biggest thing. if you struggle one day. start over the next day. It is not the end of the world. You made the best decision for yourself to have this surgery and you will succeed.
  10. That's awesome! i've wanted to be a teacher since before i can remember. I want to teach secondary level (high school) and history. more European then American.
  11. That is awesome! yeah teaching has always been a passion of mine that i have wanted to pursue. What made you want to become a lawyer?
  12. I start the end of august as well. I'm majoring in History/Secondary Education.
  13. Thats awesome! congrats! don't worry about your scale! mine does that occasionally. It could just be water weight. doesn't it feel great when people notice?
  14. I've been doing well! I haven't really had any trouble with foods! This surgery has changed my life. I don't know where i would be right now if i had not decided to have it. I am 95 pounds down. I wouldn't even dream of this a year ago. People have noticed that i have lost weight. i have gotten the "Katie have you lost weight" a lot from people i don't even talk to. It can be really satisfying and also really annoying at the same time. What about you?
  15. I'm going to college in August and am wondering the same thing! How do you do on campus with the campus food? And how do you do with everything in general? Like stress?
  16. Cycling sounds fun! You keep up the great work as well!

Has anyone heard of or used Isopure? I'm talking about the liquid drink that comes in fruity flavors. If so, what do you think of it? And what is your favorite flavor? I picked up icy orange and am excited to try it!
  18. It's going great!!!! I've lost 24 pounds since the surgery! I ended up having a little complication with a kidney stone leaving me in the hospital for 8 days...BUT other then that everything is going so well! How about you?
  19. I was sleeved on March 13th. I actually had to stay in the hospital for over a week due to having a kidney stone. The pain from the kidney stone was hard to tolerate. I actually did not have a lot of pain from my sleeve. I've been struggling a little bit. I haven't been taking my daily medications (depression, anxiety) due to swallowing the meds in a powder form. I've been ok and haven't seen any changes. I've also been dealing with the "mental hunger". I am not physically hungry, but i get these times where i can't stop thinking about food and I start breaking down. Is anyone else struggling with this? If so, did it go away with time?
  20. Hello everyone! I'm currently laying in my hospital bed. Everything went GREAT! Thank you for all of the support! I'm in the hospital until sometime tomorrow. Kate
