Isopure leaves a film in my mouth

I bought some 8 oz Isopure, alpine punch, with 15 grams of protein. I can drink them ok.. I don't really like them but I can get them down... but after every drink or two there is this odd filmy stuff in my mouth. It is nasty. I wouldn't mind drinking them other than this nasty film. Anyone else have this problem with Isopure?

I agree. I got some of the chocolate from GNC and it is FOUL.

yes i too have that problem but it also give me heart burn

I drink one a day b/c I can't drink the creamy type shakes. Yes it leave a little film but I use ice. Equal ice to drink and let it melt to dilute it down. I drink and crunch ice until it is all gone then pour the rest of the drink with ice. Helps me to get my protein and liquid down with less firm taste.

I dilute it with ice/water and also add a lil Crystal lite to it... easy peasey

Early on it is good to cut it with gatorade or g2 for the extra carbs...which are usually too low the first couple of weeks yet needed for energy and for the body to correctly function.

agreed. i bought a bunch from amazon and it's barely drinkable. it's a million times better than the bariatric advantage liquid protein elixir they have me on for the first couple of days. that stuff is incredibly nasty. shakes start tomorrow, and thats a lot better.
