What a 150 lb weight loss looks like...

Recommended Posts

Yes. Yes. Yes to all accounts! lol

I shaved years off my appearance' date=' My skin tone lightened and evened out and my hair did grow, but I did experience some thinning around the edges. I will say that I started very early on taking the Vitamin Biotin and still do for Hair growth. And, yes.. I drink a Protein Shake EVERYDAY. It's called Max fortress whey Protein shake. They sell it at Walmart for 16.00 I put 2 scoops in 28oz of Water and that gives me 52 g of protein. The rest I consume with food.< /p>

Hope this info helps :)[/quote']

Nikki82 is that Protein Drink considered ur meal or more like water intake? Is it disgusting or flavored? I have Protein Shakes but maybe your way of just drinking it like water would be easier as the shakes are starting to taste the same to me.

How many calories do you eat? Do you workout? You look great!!!

You look amazing! and so inspiring. I am getting sleeved on March 20. I've had such an inner battle on whether this is the right thing....like maybe I just haven't tried hard enough with everything I've done but when I see pictures like yours, it makes me feel better and hopeful. So thanks for sharing :)

Though I make it with water I consider the shake my meal (breakfast) because my 2 scoops contain 280 cals, 16 carbs and 4g of sugar. I wouldn't say they're nasty, but It's a different taste and it's one I've grown to tolerate. I just look at it as it has what I need therefore I will drink lol. But it's not that bad. And correction..it's called "Body Fortress" Not Max fortress as I previously said. And after that I start drinking my 28oz of water x's 4.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
