  2. I too have had this happen, been off bp meds since 3 wks post op. I felt it was a hydration thing, I had been out in the garage working and doing yard work. I could not bend over that afternoon without feeling like I was going to pass out.

  4. Hi I am a pediatric RN for 6 yrs now. ER at a children's hospital, transfer last week to the infant care unit. I worked as a CNA prior and learned so much. I was sleeved February 4th and down 42. So glad to be on this site. I am interested in what has your surgeons said about solids post sleeve..
  5. Good luck and swift healing! Praying

  9. I am now almost 6wks post sleeve, I have chronic back pain. Had back surgery in 07 and have struggled ever since. I am facing another surgery and praying with weight loss I can get the pressure off of my l5 that's compressing s1 nerve root. I am down 35lbs since sleeved. Wondering if any of you have faced a similar situation? If so, how did it turn out?

  12. Thank you for sharing your experience. I too have had depression for years and have been on and off meds. Currently takin med and have agreed to see therapist weekly for a year, hoping I can get back to the gym. Working out has helped in the past. I just hope my husband will encourage me and choose to get healthy too. In the mean time I will keep rolling with the punches. :-)
  13. It amazes me how we eat our emotions, watching my husband do that very thing sickens me! We just had to give my dog away because he bit my son who has autism. I couldn't eat the sadness away if I wanted to.. Not coping well at all. How do y'all handle the emotions post sleeve?
  14. Good luck and swift healing.
