According to MyFitnessPal 1/3 of a Five Guys Little Cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, mustard, raw onion has 227 calories and 15 carbs. Which is right in line with what I usually do for dinner or lunch! Yay!!!

I've had days where I was close to 2000, and it was also most likely due to the calories in alcohol! I try my best not to feel guilty after days like that, because the point of this surgery was to feel NORMAL. Of course, that's easier said than done.

The problem with alcohol is it also increases my chances for snacking on finger foods without thinking twice. So, 3 glasses of wine add up to almost 500 calories. Add in some finger foods, and that's almost a whole day's worth of calories in a single evening. Is it worth it to allow myself that once in a while? Totally.

And actually bread seems much easier for me than dense Protein. I always heard bread feels like a brick after being sleeved. For me it is the Protein.< /p>

Yesterday I had 1/3 of Five Guys small hamburger. It was HEAVEN. That little piece of hamburger was the best thing I've had in 8 weeks! And it was very easy for me to get down.

I got sick when I had that much but it may have been the mushrooms and onions.

I just had the lecture on calories from my doc...let's see if this makes sense. My fats are too low, calories too low, carbs too low...umm this is so NOT ME lol anyhoo if I pop over 800 I feel I've gone nuts, and that takes three glasses of wine.

So 2000? I don't think I could do it actually. This is what started the conversation with doc....he's worried about me doing well in maintenance because I don't hit calorie goals in the weight loss period :( Who'd a thunk it? :P

Ill admit it, I've had a few days where I was probably around there. Ill be honest, alcohol was involved in one of them (no lectures please!). The others were just way too much grazing and where there was food all around me. Those are not normal numbers for me. I am for 600-800 cals most days. I always feel crappy with myself if I go over 1,000, but we are human, we have slip ups. I've been fortunate enough (or unfortunate really) that no food bothers me. bread is fine, sweat don't get me sick. Nothing. I don't even get drunk off of alcohol the way others say they do. I had my first drink after surgery and was waiting to get drunk and it never happened. So I have to really watch myself carefully with my choices. I wish I had some issues with SOMETHING lol. But yea I've had a few high calorie days but as long as you pull yourself back up and do the best you can after, that's all that matters.

I don't have issues with anything either. Wish I did though because it would make it easier to stay away from bad choices.

Yesterday I was at 1393. I am 8 months out and I felt so guilty. Today is another day. Jumped on the scale and was165. Didn't gain a lb. I am going to try not to do that again at least until I get to goal. This was my all time worst day. Too much noshing on candy at work.

I have no issue with bread or sweets' date=' either. And they are both like crack to me![/quote']

Me neither :( yesterday I ate soooo healthy and then in the evening I are 4mini Reese Peanut Butter cups. They were so cute and innocent u til I found out they are 50calories each. Fail! But I also hiked up the Hollywood hills for 1.5hrs and lost 1300 calories so....

I just wish I hates sweets now:0/

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
