Ok I am kind of worried' date=' we got back from the store and I sat on the couch and started having a pain in my abdomin, it hurts to the touch right by my belly button! Has anyone had this happen! I am 3 weeks out and have had no complications so far! So a random pain worries me! Not trying to ask medical advice just want to know if anyone else has experienced this or something like it! It doesn't hurt all the time just when I try to get up or if I touch the area or bend over![/quote']

I had a lot of pain when I moved and bent down. It felt like my side (closer to belly button) was ripping. I just took my pain meds and did NOTHING for 2 days and it went away. Hope you feel better!

I am 3 weeks out tomorrow and I have only lost 5 lbs! My clothes are looser so it must be inches???? I really hope we are still loosing the fluids given to us and that we are not " slow losers". Very frustrating!!

I'm 3 weeks out tomorrow and I have only lost 10# post op!!! I can not tell at all except my clothes are bigger so I look at it as I may not be dropping super fast but as long as I can tell in someway I am ok with that. And usually slow loosers dont loose their hair like fast losers. Stay positive my fellow sleever

It sounds like you will not have a lot of loose skin either. That's a good thing!!

I'm 6 days post op and counting. I am starting to feel better especially after having a come to Jesus with my Dr and husband. Guess I'm like a kid, threaten to put me back in the hospital if I don't get with the program seemed to work great. I was having so much pain with drinking that I guess I didn't realize it but I had pretty much stopped drinking which soon lead to me being very confused and not really urinating. So I pulled my crayons out, made a chart as to when and how much of what to drink and feel so much better. It is even getting easier to drink. I'm so glad I put my big girl panties back on which may I add are a little looser since I have lost 13 lbs post op and a total of 20 lbs since my first weigh in.

surgery was 2-11. I feel fine. no real issues other then not being able to eat any kind of Protein Powder or mixed drink. incisions are fine. Water hurts but lemon water doesn't. SUPER FRUSTRATED. lost 14 the 1st week and nothing for 2weeks now. no more lost inches either. seriously the 14 I could have done without surgery. I understand stalls in a way but 1st month is bull. you eat so little and get nothing. seriously aggravated.

Hnybear5150 I was also sleeved on 2/11 and extremely frustrated that I have not lost in 12 days!!!! Makes no sense

I am with you!!! I have struggled with this, and I know it will be easier once we can have food that has protein in it. For now, it's a battle. I ordered some samples of unjury unflavored and mixed HALF of a packet in 24oz of fruit punch crystal light, and it tasted like pure Vitamins. It was horrible!!! :(

I also had ordered samples of Syntrax Nectors (assorted flavors), I made a blended shake with the double cookie crunch today and I have to say, it's pretty damn good! I have a hard time with the consistency of milk, so products that are "milky" have always been difficult for me to drink. If I had a straw, I would be able to get it down much easier....

Yes that's me. It was the gas pains. They were awful. I've never hurt like that ' date=' landerholm did my surgery. He was awesome. I'm doing good. Down 12 since that day. Stayed the same the last couple days. I'm just tired now. Having two Protein Shakes and a tiny bit of food takes a whole day to get down. How are you doing ?[/quote']

I had him also on 2/28 ...me and my sister thought he was so handsome..lol

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
