what is your guilty or guilt free pleasure?

Recommended Posts

I was absolutely messing with you. I'm just jealous that you can eat a cheeseburger and I can't. They can't make a proper cheeseburger in Central Asia' date=' and I can't really make one myself, limited by the quality of the local beef.

And why am I not surprised that Fyre chimed in with "babies?"

Hahaha... I wish I could eat a cheeseburger!!!

Now that I think of it.....I think "cheeseburger" at least for me has become a metaphor for all the foods and bad habits I gave up....

It's different now yeah? I mean even if I were to have a "cheeseburger", at least now anyway it's not an enjoyable experience. The minute i start eating its uncomfortable pointless and no fun... So I guess my guilty pleasure would be, To be able to eat something, hell even a cheeseburger and enjoy it!!

Oh man I made my son a cheese pizza and I had one small slice. I was soooo full. bread just doesn't work for me. It wasn't thin crust. I did make a pizza with flatout wraps and it was delicious! But I could eat too much of it. Gotta be careful with that one.

I'm with Cheri on the "I eat what I want in moderation" so I don't have a guilty pleasure really.

But if I had to pick one thing...a lovely glass of wine at the end of the day is hard to beat :P

Guilt-free would be using those wonderful sugar free Torani syrups, the variety of flavors is incredible, there is even a bacon one! Right now I am facing the regain I experienced in the last 15 months (25 lbs) so, there is no such thing as a guilt free treat these days :(

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
