Wow...mind blown! If I wasn't done with this forum before, I sure am now. The vultures can fight over the scraps. It's not worth wading through the irrelevant bickering, constant pettiness, and often über sexual exchanges, to get to the substance of these forums. It's truly unfortunate.

I had my 2 month checkup today and showed the original post to my doctor. Dr. King ordered his nurse to pull up the thread and print it....he then told her to contact that office to see if there was such a case there. I asked if they could let me know just because it was a big concern to me. Dr. King said it is completely impossible and he would bet his 40 year career on the impossibility of this being true....again....only she knows the truth.

Funny how folks wanna "attack" me for "attacking" someone. In your efforts to "defend" the OP...you engage in the same behavior you accuse me of? Yeah...that makes a lot of since . I don't feel I attacked her..in MY OPINION I think she's lying...that's all

......you arent the only one. My surgeon contacted the office she named so that they could be aware of the post and the accusation. The woman is lying, its just that simple.

Neither he nor the other doctor could confirm this case as it would be a severe violation of HIPPA laws and could lead to a huge lawsuit. Even my original docs office wasn't dumb enough to say I was a patient or discuss my case specifically.

My leak test was also done in surgery. Which to me makes much better sense -- why wait until you are out of surgery to detect a leak? If there is a leak then it's back to surgery. It also saves the patient from having to go through what appears to be a pretty miserable experience ( based on what I've read on VST). Just my opinion.

Many do both. Better safe than sorry...

What he was doing was informing them of the allegation....read and understand

He never said he was asking about her case....we dont even know who her is. Exactly how did you read that into what I said. He said he would contact that office if such a case were open they would know who posted it. Comment on what is,written not what you read into something!

Please please tell me again who this surgeon is who botched these two ladies sleeve surgeries? I'm just paying my 750 down payment Thursday and I'm having it done with Dr. Cabrera in TJ Mexico at the MiDoctor. I'm getting freaked out' date=' I'm a single mom of 3 great kids, I'm all they have I need to pick a reputable surgeon. Not like we all don't have too, I've never done anything for me before. I turn 50 this year and my oldest son is getting married.[/quote']

This surgery didn't happen in TJ. It was in the states. And I totally get the anxiety over this!!! I will be in TJ in March.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
