I was so excited to start the puréed / mushy food stage today. I have been SO hungry the past few days! I am 2.5 weeks post op. For breakfast I cooked up two scrambled eggs with a little mozzarella cheese. It just didn't taste good to me... I had maybe 10-15 very tiny bites and gave up. My hunger magically went away completely. Yay! For lunch I had a can of tuna with a little fat free mayo and dill relish, and I also mixed in a Swiss laughing cow cheese for an extra two grams of protein. I wasn't very hungry but knew I needed to eat it to get some protein in so that maybe I can get off of the protein shakes. It took a while to eat, but I got it all down and it's funny how happy I was that I was able to get it all down. LOL
neither eggs nor tuna have made me feel bad or anything. What is everyone else eating on this stage?
