A lot of members in SoCal VST support group, with a wide range of doctors. Do you have insurance, are you self pay or other? Recommendations will be different from everyone. Obviously I would recommend mine or his partner, Dr Braverman.

Go up to community, Social Groups and join SoCal VST support group. Sure many of us will recommend a local surgeon for you.

Best wishes!

Hi, I am from the LA area. However, I have Kaiser Permanente Insurance. I had a great surgeon Dr. Chin. He works out of the Redlands office. My surgery was done in St. Bernardine Hospital In San Bernardino,California. By Dr. Chin who works for Kaiser. My experience was very good. I was treated well.Low amount of pain. Hope this helps. Best Wishes!

I'm in the South Bay and had Dr. Aileen Takahashi with the Association of South Bay Surgeons. My surgery was at Torrance Memorial which is a Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence. Dr. Takahashi is the Bariatric Director at the hospital. I could not have had a better surgery and recovery.

I was sleeved through Kaiser SouthBay on Torrance by De. Belzberg. A year ago he removed my lap band. I trust him completely and am feeling good 11days out.
