So Im three weeks out - been trying different solids (doc said ok as long as i chew to the point of puree). Ive been noticing too lately that sometimes Im feeling hungry.

I get in my Protein daily - i get in my Water. Im trying to stay under 800 cals a day for weight loss - ive been snacking on dill pickle spears the last couple of days. I tolerate them fine - and theyre zero cals/carbs. Anyone else snack on them?

Dill spears are what I nom on for when I just want something to eat with no repercussions to my diet.

I'm not sure if you can eat these yet but these look pretty good and have some great stats:

8.2 calories, 0.5 carbs, 1.25 Protein per bite

My tummy doesn't like acid, but if they don't bother you, enjoy!

I thought my sleeve didn't like acid either. I was getting really really mild reflux, more annoying at times than pain.

I got some apple cider vinegar after reading about it on here - and it works. Mild reflux gone.

That fact that I have it in a shot glass, bang it on the table like it's a tequila shot is a whole 'nother issue.

Oh man do those sound delicious... I wonder if they'd bake in a toaster oven?

I am three weeks out also, and I am doing good getting everything I need, but I am starving all the time. I am sure some of its mental, but if I don't eat every three hours, I start throthing and it drives me crazy. I am already eating solids, just not meat. I am afraid I am taking in too many calories

Looking at your ticker you're obviously doing something right! :)

3 weeks out, that's a great lose. Nothing wrong with eating every three hours - I do. I don't get hungry, but I don't like the empty feeling I get either.

I don't really feel physically hungry except for first thing when I wake up. Every other time I have been craving something, it's been head hunger, which (so far) seems easier to fight than before.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
