It was not that bad at all. I had it while in hospital for 5 days. The needle is so small its not even a pinch. You have issues that's why you have to give it to yourself so far In advance?

My surgery isn't until feb 28th but I'm so nervous and scared. I keep asking myself am I doing the right thing?? I almost feel like I will loose some part of my identity because being overweight has always been a part of who I am... Sounds silly I am sure.

I understand this....doesn't sounds silly to me.

I got the pre-op diet blues.

I just don't know which Protein flavor to choose.

Everyone around me's eating what they please.

Pizza' date=' fried rice, macaroni and cheese.< /p>

I'm just trying to choke yet another shake down.

Ok look, now they're passing candy around.

I'm about to eat my own shoe.

They moved my surgery up to 8:45 tomorrow morning. I have to be there at 6:15.

I stayed home today after drinking the citrus of magnesia... but not too much happened. Was it supposed to? I also spent all day arguing with the finance people at the hospital. They wouldn't take my payment over the phone! Do they want my money or not?! And dealing with my surgeon's office because they lost all my bloodwork!! So much stress' date=' but at least I was distracted.

I'm praying for all you February sleevers! This is really scary for me, so if you're scared too, know I'm sending you good vibes![/quote']

I did my surgery 2/13 & got scared that a.m. whatever you do try to relax and watch a movie or do something to relax your body, you def dont want your pressure up tomorrow before or after surgery. It will def delay things. Good luck, and positive thoughts!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
