I was at my highest weight ever right before my surgery. I was wearing 28's and most were tight. Some pants were a 30. (I really telling anyone that:angry ) Now, I'm down to a 24 in anything, some pants are actually loose at a 24 but 22's are still a little too tight. This is the thinnest I've been since I've had my son, so I'm really happy.

You know I started at at 28 as well...and as I am sure we all do I have been dipping into all those clothes that I held on to for so long. I put on a pair of 18 and they were just a tad snug. I could wear them, but you know the wedgie thing. BUT in another pair of jeans 18 I am fine and have plenty of room. I think that too many sizes vary.

But I will never again wear those damn 28 so burn baby burn!

I started at 290 and a size 24, I'm now comfortable in a size 18 on bottom and an XL (sometimes still a 2x) on top at 245. I am starting to see the saggin skin and thats why I started working out last week and I've gone everyday since, I'm actually enjoying it! My Dr said that its the best thing to help but I'm also using a firming lotion with cologen in it. He also said drinking more Water will keep the skin hydrated....

Hope You All Had A Great Thanksgiving!

My Clothes Are 32-34. I Have Not Bought Any New Clothes But All Of My Clothes Are Big On Me. They Were Tight, It Feels Great Not To Have Tight Clothes Anymore. I Have Lost Only 14 Lbs Since The Sx But A Total Of 52. I Will Not Try Any Clothes On Until The Ones I Have Are Unwearable. I Guess I Don't Think I Feel That Much Smaller. That Will Be A Hard Thing To Get Over! Seeing Myself Smaller.

I've only bought a couple of shirts....and something to wear to hubby's company Christmas party.

I've been wearing pants I haven't seen since before I had my son.

I just had my third fill yesterday...and HOLY RESTRICTION!!! I'm having a hard time with my Water. I'm used to gulping it, now I have to take tiny sips. I'm hoping to hit the 50 pound mark with this fill.

What time were you there :girl_hug: I got there about 7:30 and left around 9:30. I was hoping to see you, but don't know that I'd know who you were anyway :)

I'm kind of restricted, though I can still drink Water without any problems. Maybe I'm still not restricted enough. I don't know. I keep thinking this was a mistake and I should have done the bypass. I really don't know and I'm really kind of depressed at the constant vomitting and stalled weight loss.

Or maybe I'm depressed because my mom, my biggest supporter aside from dh, passed away in September and I just miss her. I don't know anymore. Don't mind me, I'm just rambling off random thoughts today!

Roinsmom, I'm so sorry to hear about your mom. I was there by 8am. I didn't know what you looked like to look for you. I was in the main waiting room for almost 2 hours before I was moved to the back, so I may have missed you.

Hang in there. I know it's not easy. I just spent an hour hanging over the toilet because I put a few noodles in my chicken broth.:girl_hug:

So yeah, it's not easy, but we can do this. You have my support and can contact me at any time.

since my third fill I've been throwing up atleast once or twice every day. Things I can eat today I can't eat tomorrow. It's annoying as hell. I can't eat early in the day but late at night I can, which bugs me because I find myself pigging out at night because I know I won't beable to eat again until the next late afternoon. UGH!!!

I threw up twice at thanksgiving dinner. My family was like "there she goes again" at dessert when I got up just to go pee. How embarrassing! Guess I'm just frustrated. I'll get over it. You're all doing so great. I admire you!

I just flew from Florida to NYC....being banded had no effect on me. Maybe people feel sick because they are nervous......How did everyone do during Thanksgiving? One holiday down 2 to go.......We can do this. I get my third fill on Dec6......then back to Florida. I'm nervous about being too full and I have no doctor in Florida to take some out....HELP! Happy Holiday all....

A few noodles in chicken broth will cause all that? I am scheduled for January but I wonder how or what can you eat of not that even?:paranoid

Susan

to be banded by Dr. Ortiz 1/8/07

It's not always this severe. I just had my third fill and you're supposed to stay on liquids for three days. I wasn't following directions by putting the noodles in my Soup. It was my own fault really. If you stick around, you'll learn from our mistakes too.

Josette, are you chewing well? I noticed that sometimes when I'm hungry, I don't chew the way we're supposed to. I too am more restricted in the morning and it eases during the day. I drink no sugar added Carnation Instant Breakfast in the morning for Breakfast. It fills me up pretty well and doesn't get stuck. Also, sipping on a warm liquid in the am helps to open you up a bit. Hang in there.

I am with ya babe! I feel like I signed on for bulamia with surgery. I get up for work at 4 am and can not eat a damn thing until noon. It is VERY hard. But, that is small compared to the fact I feel like there is more hair inside my brush than in my head....;)

Hi all, I am going for my 4th fill tomorrow, I am really getting depressed I havn't lost any weight since my third fill, and can eat pretty much anything. hopefully the fouth fill will do the job, since my surgery have only lost 32lbs it just isn't coming off fast enough, working out like crazy and not seeing and change. I can still wear all my same clothes, I know I didn't put it all on overnight but the Dr. said you should lose 2 to 3 lbs. a week and its not happening. I just needed to vent. Thanks all.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
