I just realized tonight that I am about 3 months from having the sleeve surgery. According to my insurance I have to be working with a NUT for 6 months. Then within 90 days of surgery I have to start on my check list of things I must do to qualify for the surgery. I have to go to classes, attend a support group, see a psychiatrist, see a cardiologist, the list seems endless... I was looking for information about pre-op and post-op diet information when I stumbled on this site. It sounds like a place I could use for support.
I would love to know from people who are at least 6 months post-op if they are glad they made this choice. What advice would you have for me at this point in the process? Thanks, June
