1 step closer to getting sleeved

Recommended Posts

Today i visited my PCP and got my letter of support. YAY!

My next step is the Psych Evaluation (which i have this thursday), 2 support groups at the surgeon's office (required by the surgeon), and then I schedule my 2nd visit w/ the surgeon during which i receive a surgery date!

i know it's not a huge deal, BUT this puts me 1 step closer to getting sleeved and starting a new life.

I'm still really nervous about the insurance company approving me. I have HealthFirst, i live in NYC

It's a lot of small steps, but it all adds up to a great reward! I started my process on 11-29-12 and finally met all the requirements necessary (by my insurance) and everything was submitted for insurance approval today. I know how nervous you are regarding getting the approval because I feel the exact same way! I'm trying to focus on other stuff, but it's hard to do when your such an anxious person like me! Good luck to you in getting your approval! :)

Hi Deli, I am in the middle of the process with Dr. Belsley, I was just wondering how everything went with him and how you are doing post-op. I'm a little nervous because there aren't a lot of reviews about him in regards to the sleeve.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
