Today i visited my PCP and got my letter of support. YAY!

My next step is the Psych Evaluation (which i have this thursday), 2 support groups at the surgeon's office (required by the surgeon), and then I schedule my 2nd visit w/ the surgeon during which i receive a surgery date!

i know it's not a huge deal, BUT this puts me 1 step closer to getting sleeved and starting a new life.

I'm still really nervous about the insurance company approving me. I have HealthFirst, i live in NYC

It's a lot of small steps, but it all adds up to a great reward! I started my process on 11-29-12 and finally met all the requirements necessary (by my insurance) and everything was submitted for insurance approval today. I know how nervous you are regarding getting the approval because I feel the exact same way! I'm trying to focus on other stuff, but it's hard to do when your such an anxious person like me! Good luck to you in getting your approval!

How is your progress? I have health first on NYC too and very anxious about the approval.

Hi Deli, I am in the middle of the process with Dr. Belsley, I was just wondering how everything went with him and how you are doing post-op. I'm a little nervous because there aren't a lot of reviews about him in regards to the sleeve.
