I had surgery almost a month ago. I am at 30 pounds lost and have been the same weight for 10 days. I am not over eating and I am working out 5 days a week. I try hard to get 60 grams of Protein but sometimes it is a struggle when I work full time and busy! :) any tricks?! Thanks

Search three week stall here. You will see its very common. Also on those posts people have listed what they tried and what worked to break the dreaded three week stall.

Congrats on 30 lbs down!! Over a lb a day!!!

Congratulations! I have found the unjury chicken Soup (www.Unjury.com) to be a great way to get in 21 grams of Protein in 8oz. For me it goes down really easy and tastes great.

Good luck

Your probably at a stall. IT happens. Happened to me. Amp up your exercise. That's the only way to get through it...!

Thanks everyone. Just got done at the gym and I will hit my treadmill tonight at home after work! I do have the bad habit of being in the darn scale every morning!?

You are not alone! I hit a still at 4 weeks FOR 2 weeks. It is frustrating but your body will continue to lose! Hang in there. Stalls are perfectly normal. Butterthebean (very experienced member on here) has a link in his signature which really helped me through the first few stalls. Let me pass it on to you! http://www.dsfacts.com/weight-loss-stall-or-plateau.html

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
