I've done so well on the diet until today. I'm on my period, and 800 calories is definitely not enough for this hunger. I ended up having a can of chicken noodle Soup. It wasn't a cheeseburger, but I'm still wanting to eat. I'm sure it is emotional. I'm so angry that I have until the 22nd, and I'm struggling so hard.

give yourself a break. Be kind to yourself. I am only a week out after getting my sleeve and my hunger is very little.I feel completely in control of my eating for the first time and I had a hard time on my pre diet. You can do this.Forgive yourself and start again. I would have never made it without boxes of sugar free Popsicles.

I'm on the same boat, I'm on my pre-op diet and starting my period soon. I actually think I'm going to be starting the day of my surgery or be on day two. It's going to be horrible to be at the hospital like that especially because I get it really bad. I'm craving sweets and starting to cramp.. Ugh.. :(

I see so many of u are on a pre-op diet. Is this to lose weight right before surgery? My Dr just had me on a 1200 diet up until surgery. I lost 25# . I did not have to even do Clear Liquids the night before. My surgery was Jan 14, and I am doing really good. It is hard to get your stage

2 diet in.

Surgery was yesterday--it went smoothly and I'm doing great! Hardly any pain, walking lots. Just wanted to check in.

Give yourself a break. It is hard but you just have to remember that you are doing this to be ready for surgery. It will be ok

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
