Had my pre-operative checks done today. first the was blood tests with the best blood technician in the world. I literally didn't feel a thing. Then off to have a sonogram, no baby just kidneys and liver. blood pressure test yes still a little high but that will soon be a thing of the past.
Then off to get a scope sent down my throat. I am so glad I opted to be knocked out for it. One second I got a numb throat next I'm waking up. So far no problems and my surgery date is still only a few days away till I joined the ranks of the sleeved.
Then I came home to video chat with my parents to tell them I'm getting sleeved and they were quite supportive about it which is great. I'm still quite nervous about getting the surgery but thanks to my wife and family I know more than ever that I am doing the right thing.
