I am sorry you are dealing with this, I wonder if this was caused because of too much acids in the new stomach? I am 4 weeks out today and went to my pcp yesterday and she gave me Nexium to take once a day she mentioned it was to help my stomach heal. I do not have much acid reflux anymore but I will give it a shot and to me I guess maybe our tummies are still producing a lot of acid and do not realize to slow down? or maybe we just cant eat enough to absorb it all in the beginning (just my thoughts, I may be way wrong lol)

As for hair loss are you getting your Protein in? I am taking Biotin (they say it is supposed to help with the hair loss).

I hope you feel better!

I've been on liquid Zantac since I left the hospital, and added a daily Prevacid solutab at week 4. I'm 6 months out now, and have no additional issues with acid. As for the hair loss, mine was bad until I started taking a sublingual biotin tablet daily. Make sure you eat plenty of protein in your diet...that makes a huge difference.
