Everyones weightloss during the preop diet has me energized. I wouldn't mind dropping some weight over time.

You will lose. Nothing to it! I lost 18lbs preop on that liquid diet... almost 7lbs down since surgery day.. that reminds me, i need to update my ticker...

Meanwhile back at the ranch, I had my husband take me to the emergency room around 4am this morning. I wasn't breathing.so hot and i coughed up a glob of dark red blood in my sputum late last night. They didn't find any blood clots but they did find a nodule on one of my lungs which i have to get xrayed again for in a year.

Well at least it wasn't a clot or related to the surgery!

I'm 24hrs post op and I coughed up a very "boogery" gunk with blood. I haven't see nurse or Dr yet to ask. My cna or n.a. sucks!!

After getting back home and taking my pain med and Gas x i was just fine but this am it was about a 3 out of 10.

I was sleeved 2/12. The drain is so uncomfortable. I cant wait for it to come out. My Dr. says it needs to stay in until tuesday . Yesterday I broke down and just cried.

Omg I'm freakin out about the damn drain as it is my date is this Tuesday. I'm calling my doc to find out how long I have to keep it. Gah!

MzRobin its not bad at all! Just sore like you did a ton of sit ups and maybe pulled a muscle on one side (biggest incision and where they take out the stomach part) I fell asleep for 3 hrs and woke up in extreme pain but that was really it. Otherwise its been so smooth
