I am 16 months out, so a lot has happened since surgery lol but I am wonderful! It is a forever change and battle. I have maintained my weight but I do juggle about 5 lbs so I am aware still and try to keep on track as best I can. I know it is easy to slip back in to old habits. right now I am fighting my late night snacking again.

@@rgallardo how are you since surgery?

I recently had surgery in December of 2015, still adjusting to everything. The first few weeks were the toughest for me, letting go of the head hungry is challenging for sure. I am in North County, San Diego.< /p>

I am 4 1/2 years out now. I work hard to maintain my 100 lb weight loss. If it helps any, my self imposed rule is no food after 9:00 pm at night If I have the desire to snack, I stop all food at my set time. I will drink coffee or Water after 9:00 pm, and it has helped the 1-2 lbs gain I got for late night snacking. Congratulations. Keep up the good work.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
