  5. I definitely didn't have bland food. I put sriracha on everything. Refried Beans, I topped with plain Greek yogurt that was mixed with chili powder, cumin, and garlic powder. There are a lot of foods that have flavor in the Puree stage. Think texture not flavor! I liked cream of wheat with banana baby food mixed in, it was actually really flavorful. 7. I pureed Soups and had refried Beans and super smashed up egg salad. I also ate a lot of hummus during that stage. You can also try ricotta cheese. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  8. Definitely ask your team. I had to stop taking it at least 24 hours before surgery. You are also supposed to wean yourself off of it instead of stopping cold turkey so keep that in mind Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  11. I've lost 112 pounds (19 since surgery 4 weeks ago and 93 on my own over the past year) and I've done nothing but aqua exercises, the recumbent bike, and walking. I do Aqua bootcamp 2-4 times a week and I burn 600-800 calories per session. It is an absolute blast and the Water provides great resistance when you are running in the water. 14. I had a similar issue with my coordinator. I had to file a complaint with the office manager. After that, she was sweet at pie to me. I would definitely talk to someone over her about her attitude and ask them the 3 month question Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  15. BSCA PPO = 6 months required BSCA H M O = no 6 months as of 7/1/15 Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  16. Has anyone figured out how to clear notifications? I don't want to turn them off, but once I read them, the notification count on the outside of the app should go down or if I had a delete option. I love getting the notifications, but I hate having the little red dot on my iOS screen
  17. Fresno here too. Waiting for the insurance pre auth to be submitted when the coordinator "gets around to it"

  19. No. Did a couple of biopsies. I haven't heard of them removing anything in an endoscopy
  20. I would call the doctor. I had mine last week and didn't experience anything other than drowsiness for the rest of the day from the sedative. Had the procedure in the morning and ate a normal dinner that night
  21. I added you on Facebook also. I'm hoping for April, getting everything in order to submit to the insurance now. As soon as busy season is over, it will hopefully be all about me and my buddy the sleeve
  22. Typically when a person has rapid weight loss, they tend to get gallstones. Gallstones and pain from a gallbladder attack are one of the most common "complications" of surgery, at least according to the doctors I've talked to.
  23. I second isopure. They have zero carb varieties with 50 grams of protein per 2 scoops. I blend mine with some greens and a little frozen fruit to help offset the sweetness. I also use coconut water instead of milk
