*hops on the bandwagon* I'm a week and a half in to mine and I'm so ready to be done already. How I've gained a pound eating less than 700 calories most days I dunno, but screw you body.

I felt the same way. Lost 20lbs the first week and then not a thing for 2 weeks now. I even gained a few lbs. Research has told me stalls are completely normal. It's still hard to deal with though :(.

I got so frustrated I had hubby hide the scale! Now I weigh once a week. I am the type of loser that will stall for a long time, then drop 4 pounds overnight. Its crazy!!

So much less stress weighing once a week!

Yeah. One thing that boggles the mind is that I'm getting tons of compliments on how I look even better than I did "last week" even though I've not lost weight. Strangest compliment I got? I was told that my SHOULDERS "looked really skinny".

I laughed :D

Hello everyone, I am 9 weeks out and have been in a stall for 2 weeks, however my clothes are falling off so I would love to see the scale move by my body looks so much better.... Stalls are apart of this journey I just wish mine wasn't lasting so long.... Keep doing what you are doing and eventually I know if will pay off for all of us BUT it is discouraging

I think the body has to adjust to the rapid weight loss, I have experienced this in past dieting. When I am not losing, my body seems to change anyway. Never-the-less, I was at a one week stall, 4 weeks out of surgery, increased my caloric intake by 100 calories and stepped up exercise because I was afraid my body had gone into a low metabolism, calorie conserving period because it is geared to do that in a primitive "low food" cycle. Seemed to help, down almost 2 lbs in past two days. Frustrating though.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
