I was told to never drink carbonation again because of the risk of stretching the sleeve and they're just no #$%&&% good for you ANYway, sleeve or not! BUT....there are people that will defend their diet sodas to the death, and the discussion on this board has gotten QUITE heated on the matter. Ugly even. (just warning you...

I don't think they are worth the risk. A small sacrifice in the grand scheme of things. Just leave 'em alone. It's like drinking battery acid, and that's no good for the lining of your tiny stomach.

I agree, what possibly could u defend on drinking soda? Lol there is no benefit that I am aware of. Too much acidity for our small stomach (or anyone's) and full of sugar and or artificial sweetener. Avoid if possible

Now, with that said, I will have to have a sip of diet coke every once in a while! Hee hee

My dr said it can stretch the sleeve and it's taking up space in your small stomach with empty calories. Why drink soda when you can have something substantial?!
