Did Your Dr. Give You A Goal Weight?

Just curious, my Dr. hasn't said anything about a goal weight, do they typically tell you or did you give yourself one?

I didnt get one but I am a mexican sleever. From the posts I have read on here most dont really get a goal weight even with surgery in the us. Its a personal decision... Are you going to shoot for a normal bmi or just keep losing until you feel you look good? I havent really decided yet. After surgery I decided my goal was to be a size 12. I started at a 24 so it seemed nearly impossible. I have never been a 12 so I didnt know how much I would weigh at that size. Im in a 14 now and I already know that I am not going to stop at a 12! I guess my point is.. only you can decide and you can change your goal even when you get there.
