Just for the record, the new AP band is from

Inamed. It has been trialed at my docs surgery since January & released in the last month or so.

When I got my band replaced the port was not changed. I had an Inamed band before & this one is too!!!

It is their latest model & includes some changes to the design which make it more tollerable to the body.
