Any October 11Th Sleevers? How Are You Doing?

Recommended Posts

I was sleeved on Oct. 11 th. I lost 12 lbs the first 10 days and have been stalled ever since! Very frustrated! Isn't it to soon for such a stall? I'm not getting quite the Protein or liquids I should but I'm doing my best and I'm walking and back to work already so I'm never just sitting around. I'm moving all day.

I had surgery on October 10th and find it helps not to weigh everyday. I think that the Protein and liquids are the main reason for the stalling.

Ok thanks. I did not weigh myself since Monday until today. I was hoping for a couple pounds loss. I am going to do more Protein Shakes again. Hopefully that still break my stall.

I was sleeved oct 9th and I'm 19 pounds down which 17 where the first two weeks and after that I really don't see the scale move. I've been walking and I running 2miles nonstop for 3 days and then doing 30 minute on other cardio machines but I'm not happy with the numbers on the scale maybe I don't taken enough calories which I will start writting down to see how many calories I take, I know I do take like 70gm or more of Protein. So I'm like you frustration is getting to me I guess I should just stop weighing myself and just take the weighings at the doctors office:(

I had surgery on the 11th too! I'm now in my pureed stage and I have no pain. I'm just really bored with Soup ...

I pureed a meatball with some ricotta cheese and a little gravy, that was good. Was just able to eat a very small amount. I also tried pureed chili with Beans. I don't really like beans but when you puree, you can't really taste them and they are a good source of Protein.< /p>

Hey all feeling better energy wise today thank god! My period was pretty heavy by last night so I'm sure that had something to so with that. Had a lil applesauce a ice pop and working on Water now. Will try to choke down a Protein Shake later:-( can't wait for the puréed phase so I can get some Protein from food and not this liquid crapolla! How's everybody else doing today?

I hear ya, I'mworthit! So sick of drinking my meals! Can't wait for puree-I can start Thursday, 11/1. When can my fellow 10/11ers start puree, if you haven't already? If you have, any tips or suggestions on what tastes best? I was so excited for cream if wheat on full liquid stage, even tho I never liked it-well, still don't like it! What a disappointment! Greek yogurt, without fruit-can't do it any more! Protein Shakes a milky soup-I'm so done!

I was sleeved on the 16th I started some soft foods today. I made egg salad with one egg and it was awesome. I have more for tomorrow since I couldn't eat much but it went down great. I chewed and chewed that's the key. Every dr is different my diet doesn't include puréed. I'm so glad! I'm down 37 lbs, 21 since surgery. Good luck all!

I'm so glad I have my mommy here! She's like, didn't you change from liquid to full liquids on a Tuesday? You should be starting phase 3 puree 2 weeks later, also on Tuesday! I love you, ma! Right, I can move to puree tomorrow, not Thursday! It's a hurricane miracle (I live 1/2 mile from Great South Bay on long Island, NY. (1/2 way between NY city and the Montauk lighthouse)! We may need to evacuate, my sister is supposed to but won't, so my niece and her 3 little ones are with me!)

Stay safe! I'm from FL been through many. We evacuated for Charlie and it turned sooner than expected so we ended being stuck in it. Make sure you have your supplies! You can have no damage but left powerless for days! Again stay safe! Enjoy your puree!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
