Recommended Posts

I have to say that it was so hard at the beginning it's only been 4 months an I'm down 66 pounds. Starting weight was 254 now I'm down to 188. I can say its been along time since I saw the scale under 200 pounds. My biggest problem is exercise. I'm so lazy but I know I have to get up an tone my body . I guess I'm just happy to finally be under 200 pounds.

Thanks. It has been tough because I was so use to eating what I want. But I'm kinda getting the hang if it. It still gets rough for me at times but I think about all the struggles I had being over weight.

Congrats! I am just starting the program, and feel I have so far to go, but it will be worth it in the end :) I do not like to exercise either, but I know when I lose some weight it will be much easier for me. Good luck on your weight loss journey. It sounds like you are well on your way!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
