As a post op (and tongue in cheeck..lol) plastic surgery!

O and walking the Camino de Santiago next year and running Dubai half marathon and maybe sitting on a harley without my butt hanging off the sides oh,and riding in my friends Porche without having to roll onto my knees on the ground when I get out of it,picture that!

Just one thing though. That happiness thing,it doesnt come from the weight loss. But it sure helps!

Good luck with all your surgeries. The sleeve is awesome!

Mine are roller coasters, running around with my kids, my knees not hurting when I go up the steps, running (I have always wanted to like running). And of course skinny sex!

Oh, I have so much on this list!

I would ilke to:

fit in a booth at a restaurant.

fit in an economy car WITH a seatbelt!

cross my legs

see my collarbones. I KNOW THEY ARE THERE.

Basically, to see all the bones most people see that are covered in fat - like my ankles, kneecaps, etc.

I'd love to ride roller coasters again. I loved them when i was younger, but can't fit on them now.

I want to roller skate again. It was my favorite mode of transportation when I was a kid, but I'm too big and uncoordinated to even try it now.

I'd love to go snorkeling/scuba diving.

Heck, I'd like to FLY somewhere. i've never flown! I know if I can't fit on a roller coaster, I'm gonna have issues with a plane. Haven't even bothered trying!

I want to buy clothes in regular stores. As it is, I have to order pants off the internet. :\ very inconvenient, and embarrassing.

AND - I wanna date! I want just a shred of self-confidence to put myself back on the dating market. :)

That's just a short list!!

Congrats on your Approval and so many things on your list I want for myself as well!!!

I can't wait to run around the yard with my kiddo and help him practice baseball. Wear a sexy dress on my dates with my hubby and go shopping at normal size stores with my friends and not be the purse holder while they try on clothes!

Sitting on my hubby's lap. Feeling sexier/sexual. Being more adventurous sexually with the hubby. Horseback riding. Diving off the cliffs into that Water with my family rather than watching from below.

Not being out of breath when I climb one flight of stairs. Cute shoes instead of sensible ones. Sitting up straight in a chair and not feeling fat rolls on my stomach. A single chin. Playing basketball with my son. Taking a bath with space between my outer thighs and the sides of the tub.

The bath thing...sigh. That has been my goal forever.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
