You need to see a doctor asap. I can't believe you've waited 3 months to see a doc. Get to the ER or to your family physician immediately.

I have to just say ditto to Lisa. Why on earth have you waited so long?

Thank you both. I have waited because the doctor's office had been telling me for the first 60 days that I just was very tight and that I would get better after all the swelling went away. Now they are no longer returning calls.

I am so sorry you feel so horrible! But like the others have said you need to see a physician. Even if you don't have a personal physician you can always go to a walk in clinic and hopefully they can refer you to a specialist. Hope you feel better soon and get some answers!!

Hospital and new dr!! Very important. Dehydration messes with your pancreas and liver! Please take care

Oh that just sucks. I'm so sorry!! I hope you get to a doctor and get some help, could be a relatively minor fix maybe. Take good care!!

I agree with everyone here. Go see a Dr. ASAP. At just over 8 weeks I am definitely getting more and more comfortable with food and liquids. You should be able to tolerate a good variety at this point.

Which Dr in Mexico isn't responding to you?

My doctor was Dr. Almanza...who I really liked.

He was great and was very concerned post-op

with the initial problems I had. He had to

do a post-op scope and afterward photos showed

liquid was going thru.

Have to tried thicker liquids? Cream Soup or maybe applesauce?

I found that my acid problem got much better once I moved on to real food.< /p>

You should certainly see a Dr, as everyone has already mentioned.

Yes, I have tried thicker liquids and even adding Protein to diluted juice. Still cannot get down consistently...can sometimes get children's popscicle down if I take it very slow. I have lost 35 pounds but I am sure it is just Water.< /p>

Probably better to remove your phone number from the public forum. I would suggest sending a private message instead. Just sayin'.....

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
