On The Eve Of Pre-Op Diet...

I started the ball rolling on this surgery back in May. I met my surgeon in June. I have my surgery 29 Oct.

Tomorrow starts the beginning of two-week all-liquid, protein-packed diet...or LSD (Liver Shrinking Diet) as I am expecting to get a little crazy for the first few days.

So, here I am, the day before, the peak at the beginning of the roller coaster...the last supper, the last bottle of wine...ooh, all of the tough decisions to make, right?

Nope. I've got a cold. I have zero interest in food right now. Nothing. Nadda. No donuts, no pizza, no Pasta. I don't care. I do not want.

I am suspiciously grateful to the universe. I suspect this will only prevent any psychotic sugar crashes. But geez. Really?

How anticlimactic.

Aww that's a bummer. I have my surgery on the 25th and start my liquid diet Thursday. If it makes you feel any better I went way over board this weekend and gained 3lbs between Friday & Saturday. Not cool at all. Hope you feel better tomorrow and best of luck with the pre op diet!!

Thanks for the kind words, but let me clear, I am NOT complaining. I really am grateful. Eh, I'd almost advise any one with allergies to lay off the claritin for a few days before fasting. I am not grieving like I thought I would. It's just more of a "eh, now what?" kind of feeling.
