Who Has Been Sleeved By Dr. Lopez?

I just paid my deposit and booked my flight for surgery with Dr. Lopez on October 24th. Slightly nervous. :) I would love to read other's experiences with Dr. Lopez.

Sleeved Sept 19th in Puerto Vallarta. Great experience, minus the cancelled flights by American! Dr Lopez and his whole staff were very nice. Hospital was very very nice, but brush up on your spanish, as the nurses didnt speak very much english. The hardest thing for me was the two week pre op diet. Since the start of the pre op diet and since surgery 3 weeks ago, I have lost a total of 31 lbs. My BMI was not super high, around a 32.78, but nonetheless, I am happy with the outcome. It has dropped to below 29, and I was told that once that stabilizes, and you heal completely, the weight will start coming off quicker. I hit a stall this week, but its all good. Starting to eat real food again, although very very little, but everything is healing up nicely. No reason to be nervous. You will be well taken care of. Mexico drs and hospitals far superior in my opinion to facilities here.
