Portion Size

I am always curious what people were eating and their portion sizes are at X many months. I thought I would share my dinner from tonight. I am just about 3 months post op.

I should note this is on a small plate. I put the regular dinner plate under it for reference.

Tonight's dinner is 1/4 of a stuffed chicken, asparagus and one tablespoon of cottage cheese.

I ate most of this with the exception of 1 asparagus and a bite or 2 of chicken.

Show us what you eat!

Stuffed chicken breast*

Don't worry, it is cooked properly. The pink color is actually a reflection coming through the window from the leaves changing a beautiful orange.

I am like that too sometimes. :) this was a pretty normal sized dinner for me though and dinner is my biggest meal of the day, as I eat at 5:30 and go to bed around 12:30.

I use a salad plate for every meal too. Love the idea of taking pictures of meals. Help to see how it compares. Will do it tomorrow night and post. Meanwhile will keep an eye on here for others. By the way, love your plates!

how many months post op before your eating chili (or spicy stuff)?

dinner looks yummy.

One week. Everyone is different or has different Doctors diets.

This is very interesting. I would like to see more photos, too. Good thread.

Don't have a picture for everyone but I combined 1 can of 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup with 1 package of jimmy dean turkey sausage crumbles, added 1/4 cup of reduced fat cheddar cheese...ate less than two ounces of it, but man was it good! It was like having sausage gravy :)

This is so cool. I'm going to photograph my dinner tonight.

Citrus pepper tilapia from BJ's at 9 days post op
