I am a 29 year old Canadian heading to PV for surgery on Dec 14th. I have a BMI of 32, I'm 190. Im having my surgery with Dr. Joya. I will be alone for my suregery and would love to know if anyone else will be there? Im very scared, I'm trying to quit smoking and I'm scared that I will not be able to do it alone. Any support would be great!

Hi I will be leaving for PV Monday sept 24th. I too am having my surgery with Dr. Joya. I have been in touch with Gerald several times. That is Dr Joya's assistant. He will answer all of your questions and you can call him anytime. I'm going with my husband, so I won't be alone. I don't know if I would go alone, if there is a chance a friend or family would go that would really help with your nerves. Good luck and I will let you know how it goes.
