I considered a surgeon is Florida for $15k but with travel expenses not sure if it worth it.

If you are willing to go all the way to Florida, you should think about Mexico.

You can get it for under 7K.

I know you said you wanted to stay in the US -- but $$ is $$.

I was very afraid of Mexico too. But after reading all of the great information at this site I had a revision(band to sleeve) on Monday September 10. I went with Dr. Garcia in Tijuana Mexico for $5500.00 which include a endoscopy for $300.00. So if you didn't need that then $5200.00. I still can't believe that I have had it done! It was fantastic the Dr. is amazing, no gas pain, no real pain, a really great surgery experience!
