raynie: Your a good Daughter. You think a lot of your Mom, and that's great. Cause you only got one. Don't ever forget that "I no you won't."

You take good care of your mom, and it will all come back to you. Just like that check did. You get back, what you dish out. OR The Ying and the Yang as the Chinease put it. That will give you a idea how old that wisdom is, and it's true!!! Shirley.....

Ugh...I am definitely going in the wrong direction for our Easter challenge. I weighed in this morning at 192.8...up 3 pounds. All my traveling as really thrown me off my routine. I haven't even been to the gym since the beginning of February! I go in for a fill tomorrow and I really need it to kick me into gear. Back to the gym tomorrow too...

How is everyone else doing??

It's been very quiet lately...where is everyone?

I had a fill today. I'm now up to 2.4 cc in 4 cc band. The nurse that did my fill has a lapband too and she said she didn't get proper restriction until 6 months out. That made me feel better because I was beginning to feel like a freak! I haven't lost anything in a month!! I really hope this fill will help me lose some. I'm back to the gym tonight with a vengeance.

Jessica, Don't feel bad! We are all like that. But this site helps up to really think and keep it on our minds, so we are kinda changing our daily habits. You can't do it overnight. I feel like I am SLOWLY changing my habits. But we want to do it right this time.

I live in Michigan and it is going to be 56 Degrees today, and I have the day off. YEA!!!!! I will be going for a walk today even with a bad knee.

THINK SPRING!

Everyone

Hi everyone!

Its been so very very wonderful being off of work for a few days! now i'm back and trying to stay positive and refreshed!!

I'm half listening to a conference call and they are talking about the trip they are taking to Salt Lake tomorrow and it made me think of you Jess so i figured i'd log on!

I had my first PB yesterday. It was either from not chewing the broccolli enuf or cuz I was drinking with my meal. very gross. I am usually very good about not doing it but I ordered a mango margarita and didnt finish it before the food came and was NOT going to let it go to waste!!

Enjoy this spring time weather!

better get back to work....

I was getting worried because no one was posting! I'm glad you're around Sonia! I hope everyone else is doing well. My fill has finally given me some restriction; I've hardly been hungry all day. Talk soon!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
