Have you seen your dietician or surgeon about this? I haven't had my surgery yet, but I know I am required to go back and see them frequently. I would check with them.

Working out and drinking the Water have been the difference makers for me. You may be get started slow, but build it up with time and I believe you'll be happier with your progress. And as you progress, please keep us posted. Others may have great suggestions for you.

Hey there. You've lost 72 lbs which is awesome! How far are you from goal is the BIG question? Do you have much more weight to lose or are you pretty close to goal? If you are close to goal, it may be time to kick the carbs to the curb as low as you can get them. That seems to help a lot of people get to goal.

I agree it may have to do with the fact that you didnt have much left to lose or maybe u r taking in too many calories. You may be eating a smaller amount but with a TON of calories?

Looks like you have 90lbs to go, if your ticker is correct. You mentioned you were getting into working out again...like you haven't been working out. That may be the very reason for your slow losing. Eating right and exercising at least 5 times a week is key for any weight loss to happen...with or without surgery. The sleeve is, like all have said, just a tool. ;) Good luck! You can do it!

72 lbs is great!! When was your surgery? Mine was 11/28/11. I am in a stuck plateau situation also. I was down 72 lbs but with my son in high school sports I had a few months that I found no time to exercise.

So now I have my 1 year check up in a few months I also am going to really pump the exercise up and write down every morsel I take in!!!

My situation is even more pressure. I work for my surgeon so he see's me everyday!!!

Would love to talk to you if you need some daily support. I know it is hard!!

Keep your chin up and I agree more exercise, less carbs!! Are you getting in your 80-100 grams of Protein?

I would suggest a restart. Diva has a great sleeve reset program if you look through her posts (I'm not sure exactly what she called it - but it was pretty much back to basics).

- Go back to the beginning, progress through liquids

- Log EVERYTHING that goes into your mouth - Myfitnesspal is a great resource for this

- Make sure you know what your calorie/carb/protein goal is from your NUT

- Get back into exercising - this one it sounds like you're doing already

- Give yourself motivation - put up some pictures of the changes you've made before and during to motivate you

- Figure out your hardest time of day and make small goals to get healthier foods in at those times

- Prepare foods ahead of time and maybe plan meals ahead of time - for me things go better if I know what I'm supposed to be doing rather than figuring it out on the fly

You can do it! You have already lost 72 pounds, which is great =) Don't give up.

WILL ADMIT I CAN EAT ANYTHING .

Most of us can eat anything. The question is what are you choosing to eat. I'm not asking you to share that with us if you are not comfortable with that, but at least do a food journal for a week.

Write down everything that goes into your mouth. Include items used in preparation. Track volumes also, and add up your total daily calorie count.

I think you may find its much higher than you might think

Also, what are you drinking? It is so easy to drink a ton of calories and not even notice it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
