Has anyone tried the Dreamfields Pasta?

I question anything that is "too good to be true" but I have tried the Dreamfields Penne pasta and it was tasty. I could only eat about 6 pieces of pasta, but it satisfied the desire. Below are two links regarding the pasta -- FAQ and the Nutrition Panel.

Please share your thoughts.

Thanks!

Yes, I've tried it. It's virtually indistinguishable from regular Pasta, at least to my taste buds (and I'm Italian). I was able to eat 8 pieces, which was like a feast! I've heard others say they enjoy whole wheat Pasta and rice pasta.

If you do a search for "Dreamfields" or "low carb pasta" on here you''ll find rather lengthy discussions on the topic.

I have never separated digestible carbs for non-digestible carbs. I'll try it though. I'm not inclined to eat Pasta at all during this time when I seem to stall for long periods, but I will make an exception because I'm really curious.

It's available at Albertsons, Vons and Ralphs in my neighborhood.

Thank you so much!

I don't really monitor my carbs but I enjoyed Dreamfields before surgery and still enjoy it to this day!! Tastes great and personally, I can't tell any difference!

Good info, I will have to find that Dreamfields and try it. I haven't had Pasta since my surgery. I don't really crave it, but I wouldn't mind trying it to see how it tastes now and how it goes down.

I saw a story a few months ago about this Australian product called SlimPasta, seemed to be getting good reviews: http://slimpasta.com.au/

I assume it will eventually make it to the U.S. if there's not already a way to order it online.

According to the website, it's almost the same as shiritaki Pasta. When I'm farther out and can incorporate more into my diet, I want to try these noodle alternatives.

I tried it years back when I was doing Atkins, its pretty good, I also heard you can use spaghetti squash alternative too, I've never tried it before though.

This has way too many calories for me! I think I will just stick to my spagetti squash! Thanks for the info anyway! :)

My serving size is more like 1 oz. so 95 calories isn't too bad for a starch.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
