Are You Weighing Yourself Too Much?

Recommended Posts

Wasn't sure where to post this, so feel free to move it to a more appropriate thread:

I found it whilst searching for something else.

I weigh twice a day. Dr. Davidson says to weigh every morning to keep an eye on what we are doing. He says it's better to nip it in the bud if we find ourselves up two or three lbs. I weigh at night, just for fun. It's a game I play, I guess what I'll weigh the next morning. I've been weighing like this since June 2010!!! Avoiding the scaless all those years, except when at the doctor's office and you have NO choice.....I think is easier to be in denial!!!!

I weigh myself daily in the morning. I have heard that it is both bad and good, I guess it depends on how you take the numbers. For me, I am curious as to what my body is doing. Also, I like to keep on top of my weight, because for so many years, I rarely stepped on a scale. So I do not obsess over the number just like to see it go down.

Very interesting article, thanks for posting.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
