Surgery Date 9/10/12 And Osteo-Arthritis

I am scheduled for surgery 9/10/12. I have many reasons for needing to do this, but the main reason is because I have osteo-arthritis in my knees. I have always been active despite my weight, but now that every step I take hurts and I am having to limit my activities I have a different outlook on surgery,

Anyone else with the same date? Anyone else with knee problems?
