A nurse by profession and engaged but no kids. With my history of PCOS kids will come after I drop the weight. Starting weight: 280lbs Current Weight: 275 and losing everyday!!

Thanks for your advise Deb..what other things should I b asking. I just made up my mind n booked my surgery hoping for the best. I figured if I asked them something they just going to tell me what I want to hear.

Who is your surgeon? there are many people on this site who have had your same surgeon and have already gone through the surgery. What are your specific questions?

I am submitting to my insurance in the next couple of days! I have everything in order and am excited and nervous to receive my surgery date!

Omg I'm so scared of the liquid diet!!! Everyone in my fam is nervous about Mexico I'm nervous about the liquid diet because of my weight they suggest twice of it. Id think I can do it.... That's the reason y I want this done. If I can do it on my own I wouldn't need surgery... Any advice... Is it clear liquid for two weeks or can I have things like ensure/ slim fast/carnation etc

Best advice I have, as Im on day 8/14 of liquid diet, take each day as its own. Celebrate yesterday's success and focus on today. Each day is its own. Im supr edgy and Iv beggd my nurse for a slice of cucumber, celery, one cashew --no way was the answer. U can do it surely if I can.
