Lose Weight By Stopping At Mcdonald's Once A Week

Recommended Posts

I walk to Redbox to drop off my movies at least once a week. Since McDonald's are everywhere you can usually find one or two that make a nice, long walk with a destination and purpose.

I don't always pick my movies up that way, because different locations have different selections, but it's a good way to use McDonald's in a positive way.

I usually get their mini side salad.... It's delicious and definately healthy enough after your walk.... Enjoy :)

Nothing at McDonald's is healthy. We should never be going there and eating or drinking anything. It is pure garbage foul food!

If it's only been a month since your surgery, what on earth can you even eat at McDonald's? I can't even eat bread. I just don't understand!!

I thought the post was about renting RedBox movies at the McDonald's and walking there to pick up and returning them was a healthy thing.

Maybe it is the benadryl kicking in and I misunderstood ;-).

OP can you please clarify??/

Sleeve Dude can you clarify?I was thinking that is a great idea but other peoples' responses have thrown me.... The only thing you are getting at McDonald's is movies right? Either way I will use the idea for CVS or Walgreens since they are everywhere near my house:)

I don't think the op was eating there, just picking up videos. But there are red boxes in most grocery stores, why even go near a Mc D? Not a fan of htier foor, or the way it smells, and I am not even sleeved yet.

Just me, but I have spent enough time & money at McDonald's ( with 2 kids) to think I have earned a lifetime pass to use their bathrooms. LOL, BUT because I consider my association with food unhealthy, will be avoiding it like an alcoholic should be avoiding a bar!

Fellow nurse! Yes, their bathrooms are a lifesaver for us visiting nurses! Lol ..(as long as they keep them clean)

He is talking about picking up and dropping off movies at the Redbox in front of McDonald's. Not eating there.

Come on people....

What he said.

Anywhere with a Redbox is fine, just walk to and from there to pick up and/or drop off your movie.

People still pick up and drop off movies?

If you know of another way to rent new release HD movies for USD1.50-ish I'd love to hear about it.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
