Try the BariWise products from Bariatric Choice. They are like crystal light with Protein. These were the easiest for me in the beginning. They are 60 calories with 15 grams of Protein. They have a variety pack I started with. One difference is they aren't as potent as crystal light which is too strong for me and hurts my throat. They also have a great hot chocolate which was soothing.

OOoOoo crystal light with protein?! Gotta look for those! Itll help me get my Water in too! Do you like the taste of them? Are they like the regular ones?

I love Unjury vanilla & Unjuey unflavored to put in my Soups & now my mushy foods. I also love Syntrax Matrix chocolate & mint chocolate chip. All 4 have the consistency of milk, not heavy, gritty, or chalky. No weird aftertaste. Can be heated or cold, mixed w/water or milk, coffee, or tea. Highly recommend them! I just had a $15,000 surgery.. I want to treat it right. These medical grade whey Proteins are worth every $$. :)

Someone told me about unjury. What flavor are you trying. She told me about chocolate splendor. Are they gross? Its expensive!

Order the sample pack, so you can taste them before buying in bulk. chocolate Splendor was hard for me to get down, strawberry Sorbet was a little easier mixed with diet pink lemonade, and the chicken broth went down the best. I'm planning to order more broth.< /p>

I have unflavored, strawberry, vanilla, and the classic chocolate-vanilla is my favorite. I decided to go with Unjury because I wanted a high grade Protein, especially since that was all I could have for 3 weeks. I loved the shakes pre-op, but post op the are very "rich" and I have to really work at finishing them. They still taste great, I just get fuller quicker.

The price is less per serving than I would spend on food, so I consider it a big savings! I'm making a huge commitment to live a healthy life, so I want to give my both the best nutrition possible, to me that means buying a quality Protein Drink.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
