Had my surgery yesterday, Aug 6 at 10am. Woke up ok, with pain and pressure in my chest. Surgery itself went well. Fighting bad gas pain, but tolerable. Pain meds an gas x on board. Ok so far!

Congrats! Sip, walk, and rest! I'm glad your surgery went well. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I went home the next day at 6pm. Got home last night and this is my first full day home.

Congratulations! I hope that you have a great recovery.

I hope you both have a good recovery.

Congrats and good luck! I had mine 7/31. WALK! That's the best advice I can give for gas.

I was sleeved on Aug 6th also. I got home this morning. Pain isn't too bad except gas, which comes and goes. Walked to the mailbox and that helped move the gas along. I was just able to eat about an oz of greek yogurt! Good luck everyone!

Good morning everyone. I also had my surgery Aug 6th @ 4:30-6:30. I came home Aug 7th around 6. This gas does not play.

Awesome! I'm on day 9 and week 2 is SO much better than week 1. Just sip all day and rest and week 1 will be over before you know it.

I'm curious about the gas. Are we talking gas, like stomach gas, which passes out your mouth? Or the other end? Or are we talking gas because they filled your internal cavity with it to make room for the surgery? In which case, how does it come out? Can't imagined GasX would help that.

Either way I'm jealous that you're done and wish you luck!

My ticker below shows me jumping through insurance hoops!

I had my surgery Tues. Aug 7th about noon. I had a prolonged reaction to the anesthesia. So nauseous I couldn't do anything on post op day 1. It was much better today, though, so I am finally home!
