10 top reasons why not to get FAT

Recommended Posts

I was walking around the house the other day and as my legs slapped together I started to laugh. I was thinking of what David Letterman would list as his top 10 reasons not to get fat.

So I thought it would be fun to see what you guys thought. I can't think of 10 yet but here are a few.

10. Women need to buy a OVER THE SHOULDER BOULDER HOLDER Rather than a bra

9. RUNNING CAN CAUSE BLACK EYES

8.WALKING UP THE STAIRS AND CLAPPING YOUR HANDS SOUND THE SAME

(I'm not trying to be insulting to anyone and I hope that you all take this as lightly. If I am offending anyone I'm sorry I really don't mean to.)

4. It becomes hard to wipe your own pieces and parts.

3. Tennis shoes and flip-flops just don't look good with fashion. oh.. what fashion??

2. Your heart wears out far more quickly than if you were more healthy.

1. If a bear/burglar/snake/whatever shows up in your bedroom it's helpful if you can RUN.

When you have a fantasy about surprising your honey by cooking dinner and wearing nothing but an apron -- but you realize that your apron is actually a part of your stomach and not something you can remove without plastic surgery, the fantasy takes a turn for the worse!

Haha! Great minds think alike...check out http://www.lapbandtalk.com/lighter-side-large-t26250.html?t=26250&highlight=the+lighter+side+of+large there are a few pictures there as well.

I have got about 50 more of these but here are a few more of my good ones!

1. Finding my seat on an airplane without knocking out the unfortunate passengers seated in the aisle seats on the way there!

2. Flopping onto a waterbed without wiping out my bed companion with a tidal wave of catastrophic proportions.

3. Doing a push up where my breasts and tummy actually lift off the ground!

4. Wearing G-strings (a thong) and actually have my husband notice that I AM wearing underwear! (i'll leave that one to the imagination!)

5. Weaving in and out of people at a crowded party without 'feeling everyone up' in the process.

he he he! as you can see I have a rather ridiculous sence of humour!

 Becky

You don't have to pant like a lamaze coach to tie your shoes.

You have to have someone tell you....ever....."we don't carry that size".

You won't "swish" when you walk.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
