I know I feel the same way and I'm 5 days post-op. I've heard from many people though that they have all felt this way and every thing that we are feeling is normal. Although I'm tired and weak and dizzy right now I know that I'm not alone and that makes me feel a little better. My friend is 14 months post-op and she said the first month is hell and then it gets better and better. She's eating everything she did before just in smaller amounts and she's this tiny little thing. When I talked to her it made me feel better. Hope I helped.

I get dizzy too. My doc said one sign of dehydration. I drink G2 and Water. Dehydration was one of the causes for my er visit along with low blood (had to get a blood transfusion about 3 weeks ago ). I would try G2 littlebites a member here told me about the G2. I crush ice and G2 together I use a spoon. I start feeling better. Not getting enough nourishment is another cause is what I was told as well. I put unflavored Protein in my applesauce. I take nausea medications too. If you don't get better call your doctors answering service or go to the er.

I hope you feel better.

Hello- I am about 7 weeks post op and the first three weeks were like being in a tornado. I had zero energy and was dizzy all the time. My surgeon suggested additional Iron as I may have been anemic during that time. Let me tell you the day after my first iron supplement, I felt like a whole new person. PLEASE take the time to rest. It was extremely difficult for me with three kids, but I can't stress how important it is just to take it easy and rest rest rest. Things will be back to normal soon! Good luck!

Be patient. I was probably feeling normal at two weeks and could say 100% at four weeks

I'm 6 weeks post op, I just got back to the gym. It takes time. You have to be kind to yourself. You have to look at it like you have a brand new organ, let your body get used to it. The getting tired easy thing will last until you can get some Vitamins and Protein in you. The tired after eating thing I still have, like my stomach sucks all my energy to digest. But it will get better. It's a process, just have paitence with yourself and its not laziness to rest after a major surgery. Don't feel pressure to jump back into life so soon. Take it easy, you don't want complications.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
