I am waiting on insurance approval... but was told I shouldn't have an issues. Fingers crossed!

I have a month from today! Now time to buckle down and get prepared!

I've already been collecting some items:

vanilla and chocolate Premiere shakes

Unjury Unflavored powder

Things to get:

small silverwear (a trip to Ikea is instore because they have kid silverware that looks like normal stuff)

small plates and bowls

small storage containers

a blender (looking at the Ninja kitchen system)

and then all the lovely Jello, crystal light, mio, soup, etc for my liquid diet

I'm super excited! And I hope everything goes smooth with the insurance! I have UHC

Congratulations! I have UHC but they wouldn't cover any of my expenses...therefore ended up being self pay! I was sleeved July 2nd and I love it...I'm sure you will too...good luck!

Hi, This is Angela. Just got my surgery date for the Sleeve the other day for Aug 15 with Dr. Hoehn in Lenexa, KS. I'm so excited for all of us and wish I would have known about this surgery years ago! Now I'm going to begin making my shopping list. Dr.'s nurse said I should only need to fast for 1 week due to being a lower BMI. I'll find out more during next appt on 23rd.

August 1st. Wish me luck. I'll give y'all previews.

I'm in for my sleeve on Aug 6!! Can't wait! I got some unjury protein samples to try and have found the Premier Protein shakes at Sam's Club to be good. Thats the only things Ive gotten as far as prep items. Guess I need to do some shopping soon.
