Nsv- If The Shoe Fits..... (See Pic)

Recommended Posts

So I was at Payless today getting some shoes for my son, and I decided just for fun to try on some shoes. I have NOT been able to wear shoes from any store like that for YEARS. I had to order online size 10 or 10 1/2 WW or WWW or WWWWWWWWWWWWW........well....you get it... ;)

So here is a picture of the 10W I put on and IT FIT!!!! HOORAAAAYYYY!!! (don't mind my 'canckles')

I even tried on a regular 10 that was a bit stretchy and I got it on too!! WOO HOOOOOO

I almost bought them just because they fit!!! LOL

Dooter

i've heard before about shoe sizes changing after we've lost a bunch of weight.

I don't like shoe shopping, so i'll wait till I hit my goal.

its a cool though that being a 9w - this width might get smaller.

kathy

ps cool shoes

I know! I was so bummed when I went from an 8 back to a 7-1/2 because it meant so many of my favorites are now too big. I try to wear them and my foot sloshes around. It's amazing how much I gained in my feet by seeing leather all stretched out!

I hardly had any shoes, and the ones I have are so worn out---good riddance!!

Whatever, you just wanted to show off your cute pedi big toe flower.

When I was losing with my band, I was amazed at all the little things that changed. Shoe sizes, watch bands, rings, necklaces get longer, towels wrap all the way around, all of a sudden noticing your hands or fingers feel more boney, all of a sudden your car is uncomfortable to sit in because your bone (not just fat) is up against the door, etc.

Feet kinda gross me out, so at least "they get smaller" is something we can Celebrate. :)

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
